Three complete bestselling, award-winning novels in one volume, The Pride of Lions and The Blood of Roses tell the stirring romance between the English beauty, Catherine Ashbrooke, and the Highland warrior, Alexander Cameron. Thrown together by fate their destiny takes them from Derby to Lochaber to follow the path of war. The third book in the series, Midnight Honor, is the story of Colonel Anne Moy who appears briefly in The Blood of Roses but was such an intriguing character, she deserved a book of her own. Fiery and strong-willed, Colonel Anne called out the clan while her husband, the Chief of Clan Chattan, served as an officer in the English army.

This is the first review I have ever done. I Loved The Scotland Trilogy so much that I could not resist. In the first book when the story began I didn't think I would stay interested for three books, but then the story twisted and I started to really enjoy it. The first book set up the romantic interest of the main characters that would follow through to the second book. The second book was the best. I loved how the relationships between the characters and the battle scenes between the Scottish Highlanders and the British soldiers were written. I felt every emotion that the characters in the story felt; the love scenes, the battles and how they felt when their loved ones died and they had to just carry on and move forward. It actually took me a couple of days to want to read the third book because I was so emotionally spent after the second one. The third book was good, however, as is usually the case in trilogies; not as exciting. It went back an told the story of a strong female character that was depicted here and there in the second book in depth during the same time period. I have read and always enjoyed other books by Marsha Canham. This was the best for me.Product details

The Scotland Trilogy edition by Marsha Canham Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I am so disappointed! The first book pulled me right in and then all the sudden it ended. I thought...good thing I bought the trilogy...I can get right back into the story. All too soon the fun was over. Way too much detail about the battles for me. Halfway into the second book I was skimming like crazy to find out what would happen to Catherine and Alex. I didn't even bother to read the third book as it looked like a rehashing of all the battles. The first book alone was wonderful. Such a unique story about the development of Catherine and Alex's relationship. It frustrates me so...
I enjoyed this as we were planning on traveling to Scotland. It agave me a list of places to visit and ideas of castles to see while there.
I love Alexander Cameron!!!!!! He's my favorite hero of all time, and I have read romance novels for 16 years, the first being The Last Arrow by Marsha Canham. I must have read the whole trilogy in less than 3 days, couldn't put it down. Marsha Canham is one of my favorite authors. Enough said.
Pretty good and a fun read. But, I found myself comparing this unfavorably to the Outlander series, as they are set in the same place, time period, and even share some of the historical characters.
This trilogy quickly jumped to the top of my favorites list. Well worth the few extra $$ to buy all three at the same time, I immediately started them one after another. The plot is well thought out and her research is well done.
I read the last book first, then bought The Scotland Trilogy a box set. I found the last battle between the Scottish and English very descriptive and unsettling. I finished the set yesterday and woke up this morning still thinking about battle. What a superb piece of writing to bring these feelings it was almost a feeling of being in the battle.
These books kept me reading late into the night. I couldn't stop reading until I had finished all three books. Each one was filled with surprises and as soon as I finished, I started rereading to see the clues I missed the first time. The author conveyed the feelings and heartbreak in this period of Scotland's history well. The reader is given an exciting love story in addition to the brutal history of this time.
